Study on the Atomization Characteristics of Flat Fan Nozzles for Pesticide Application at Low Pressures

Spraying is the most widely used means of pesticide application for pest control in agriculture and forestry. The atomization characteristics nozzles are directly related to spray drift, rebound, deposition. Previous research studies have mainly focused on change pattern characteristics. This study analyzes influence parameters (spray angle, pressure, equivalent orifice diameter nozzles) spatial position flow field. To obtain nozzles, phase Doppler particle analyzer (PDPA) was selected accurate measurement sizes velocities at distances 0.30–0.60 m, using low pressures (0.15–0.35 MPa). velocity models were then established validated. results revealed that average absolute error model 23.74 µm relative 8.23%. errors 0.37 m/s 7.86%, respectively.
